A Magical World Filled With Sliders: Dallas, Texas

Great article from The Dallas Morning News today, all about sliders!! Author Joyce Saenz Harris eats her way around Dallas’ many slider options and her food section co-hort Meredith Deeds provides some really interesting and delicious sounding slider recipes. I know what I am cooking this weekend. Great pics, too!!

Full story here…

Apparently Hardees has their own version now, too. Yet another reason this blog is called Burgatory. We here in Philadelphia have no access to Hardees, and thus no “slammers.”

  1. Sliders, when done properly, are such a wonderful little invention. Unfortunately they are too often an exercise in bread delivery. It’s about the meat people!

  2. I couldn’t agree more, Dana.

What might even be most interesting about sliders is that they (could be) the epitome of the “a little bit of something bad won’t kill ya” adage. All of the taste we crave in a tiny package that minimizes intake of fat/calories/cholesterol…then again, most of us have a hard time eating just one (or three) sliders.
