Cattlenetwork.com (not sure if this is a website for cattle to network or the cattlemen, but I digress) brings news today of the Lone Star State’s “official” seat of power for the Cheeseburger, Friona.
Little known facts about Friona:
- Within a 50 mile radius of Friona, there are more cattle on feed than in any other location in the world.
- The town was originally called Frio
- Hosts an annual Cheeseburger Cook-Off and Festival (reason enough to visit!!)
